Homegrown: Friday Night at The Moorish Room
The Moorish Room by Blackwoods is one floor below the Greysolon Ballroom where your cousin maybe got married that one time. Featured in the 1994 major motion picture "Iron Will," the stunning Moorish Room is rumored to have a haunted bar. At least that's what my friend told me in college so it's gotta be true. There's a beautiful dance floor space right by the stage but maybe you're wondering about chairs. I believe there were some chairs in there last year to sit on. We'll ask the venue 'bout that because, oh my, chairs are so great after 9:30 pm the week of Homegrown, am I right?

Trailer Trash + Rich Mattson & The Northstars + Breanne Marie & The Front Porch Sinners
Trailer Trash + Rich Mattson & The Northstars + Breanne Marie & The Front Porch Sinners | 6pm Doors | Friday | September 5th | Get your tickets!
TRAILER TRASH started at the 24 Bar in the now defunct Berman Buckskin Building in 1992. Moving to Lee’s Liquor Lounge in May, 1993, they held down a regular Wednesday night gig that became a midweek attraction of Minneapolis nightlife. Thanks to the resurgence of classic country music and swing-dancing in the mid-90s, the band gained a following among new generations of music lovers. To this day, TRAILER TRASH is known for playing traditional country music as well as a wide variety of styles from the American hit parade. A typically eclectic set list will span decades and touch the heart of every audience. || RICH MATTSON || Over the course of his long and illustrious musical career sprouting from the same teal backwater as Bob Dylan on northern Minnesota’s Iron Range, Rich Mattson came up in the '80s learning songs from John Denver to Link Wray with a little Elvis Costello and Neil Young tossed into the mix. Add in some heaping handfuls of U2, the Replacements, and CCR and blend until the ingredients come splattering in bits and pieces and you have around 500 tunes and this fella’s monster discography (see also Ol’ Yeller, the Tisdales, Glenrustles).
Gatherings by Sheraton
