Breanne Marie and the Front Porch Sinners return to Minneapolis for the first time in three years with a new album and some very special guests OPNR and Dead North. Recorded at Sparta Sound, produced by Jillian Rae, mixed and mastered at Clubhouse Studios in St Paul with Eric Martin, “Two Trees” is the 4th album from this Duluth-based Americana band.

Breanne Marie & The Front Porch Sinners deliver high-energy Americana jams and soulfully sentimental ballads. Featuring singer/songwriter and sometimes trumpeter Breanne Marie on lead vocals, the band blends traditional pedal steel and fiddle with guitar lines, driving bass and drums which Americana Highways described as “a brilliant blend of 90s indie and country.”

OPNR is the latest project from Minnesota songwriter Dave Mehling. A musical celebration of all things Americana with a tinge of psychedelic experimentation. Bassist Beau Jeffrey, Guitarist Eric Carlson (Val Son, Big Lake) and Drummer Scott McPherson (Elliot Smith, She & Him) turn gentle ruminations on daily life into dense sonic explorations. For fans of Bill Calahan, Sam Phillips and Gastr Del Sol.

Dead North is a progressive bluegrass band from the northwoods of Michigan’s Keweenaw Peninsula. Now residing in Minneapolis, the band is composed of Luke Pascot (guitar, vocals, banjo) and Kora Melia (mandolin, fiddle, vocals). Together, they push the limits of the bluegrass genre with bold experimentation while still maintaining a high level of respect for tradition. Their sound elegantly mixes bluegrass with elements of jazz, rock, country, funk, and so much more. Influenced by the likes of Tony Rice, Billy Strings, David Grisman, etc., Dead North is a must see for any fans of progressive acoustic music.
