Join us live in person as more than 15 Northland artists perform in a special benefit concert for war relief in Ukraine.
Concert organizer and performer Paul Metsa will host the event beginning at 7 pm Wednesday, May 14. All proceeds will be donated to the Nova Ukraine.
This concert will also be livestreamed on the Sacred Heart Music Center YouTube channel by Two Harbors Media.
Artists scheduled to appear include: Mark & Nancy Rubin, Erin Aldridge, Christopher David Hanson, John Ward and Lori Hatten, Whiskey River, Tim Martin, Breanne Marie Tepler, Sonja Martin, The Climes, George Ellsworth, Duluth-Superior Harbormasters, Liesel Wilson and The Mahon Brothers.
“I’ve lined up an incredible array of talent playing in a variety of styles including classical, blues, folk, jazz, and even a 10-piece barber shop singing group! All musicians, including myself, are donating their time,” said Metsa. “While our democracy here in the states is under threat, I believe it is important to support a country that is valiantly fighting for its own democracy and sovereignty. Let their bravery and valor be a guiding light for us all.”
