More than two dozen Twin Ports musicians will pay tribute to rock icon Chrissie Hynde and The Pretenders performing some of the band's biggest hits at 7 pm Saturday, January 24.
This one-night-only concert is part of an ongoing tribute series staged at Sacred Heart Music Center twice a year.
Duluth singer-songwriter 95 KQDS radio personality Chris Allen will host.
Each Northland artist will perform a song from The Pretenders catalog, which includes rock classics like "Brass in the Pocket," "Middle of the Road," and "Don't Get Me Wrong." Hey-Ho, don't miss this show!
All proceeds from this Duluth Does concert goes to support Sacred Heart Music Center programming and maintenance of its historic property.
Advance e-tickets will go on sale for $15 (plus $2.85 in fees) at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 5 on Eventbrite. Paper tickets will be available at Globe News in Superior (cash only) and Zenith Bookstore in West Duluth (plus $1 handling fee). Tickets will be available at the door for $20 while supply lasts. Doors at 6 pm. Music at 7.
